This policy will let you know the following:

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from me?

On some TVA Site pages, we collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily submit when you register on the Site, and when you make additional requests and/or receive materials. In order to maintain an account with TVA, you must provide your name, e-mail address, and zip code, and you may choose to voluntarily include other standard contact information, including addresses and phone numbers, or personal information such as previous experiences and background. You acknowledge that this information is personal to you and that you are allowing others on the Site to identify you. This information will remain subject to this Privacy Policy and TVA's Terms of Use.

We may also ask you to voluntarily provide us with optional information regarding your personal or professional interests, age, demographics, experience with the products and services we provide, and contact preferences. In addition, if you choose to participate in any payment programs hosted by TVA, we may need to collect other personally identifiable information, such as your social security number, employment data, or other financial information. You can always browse the Site generally without providing this personal data, but may be blocked from certain features of the Site. Wherever TVA collects personal information, we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

2. What are cookies and how are they used by TVA?

By not accepting cookies, some Web pages may not display properly or you may not be permitted to access certain information.

TVA may also collect IP addresses (the Internet address of a computer) to track a user's session while the user remains anonymous. We analyze this data for certain trends in statistics, such as which parts of our site users are visiting and how long they spend there. In general, we do not link your IP addresses to anything personally identifiable to you.

3. How is my information used?

TVA will not sell, rent or lease your personally identifiable information to others without your consent.
